Better quality of life with Makspower lithium batteries
Successful CPAP therapy depends on the equipment being used every night.
This is precisely what many people worry about when they are going to a cabin without electricity, a boat or campervan trip or just to new places.
Many of our customers have invested in Makspower Lithium batteries either with built-in Bluetooth and an app that shows consumption, charging and how much is left in the battery, or with another solution that shows the same.
Then they go on vacation and know exactly how much power is available for CPAP use.
It has saved many people from unpredictable and tiring holiday experiences.
CPAP has a DC converter that makes it easy to connect to a 12 volt battery. 12-volt lead batteries are extremely heavy, slow to charge and break quickly when fully discharged, which happens all the time.

Hello. Sending as agreed consumption measurements for CPAP performed in our motorhome.
The measurements were made with Airsense 10, which is the most common model in use. Consumption in Ampere in the pictures is misleading to the extent that they do not show the consumption of the machine, but random consumption at the time.
The measurements have been made where only Alde gas heaters are used in addition to Airsense 10,
Humidifier temperature during measurements is set to 27*.
Other consumers that it is not possible to control (various LEDs, back-up, etc.) can also have a small impact, but very little since they do not make a constant impact in the BMS.
The measurements show:
Consumption with humidifier 19% over 8 hours and 39 minutes
Consumption without humidifier 7% over 9 hours and 37 minutes
I think this is interesting data for CPAP users. Several people I've spoken to say they need to be on mains power to use the machine they rely on.
Please note that this is only an indication as only one measurement has been made and not a series. You are welcome to use the information in marketing, but at your own legal risk.
I will do more measurements throughout the season when it really gets going, mostly for my own sake but you are welcome to take part in it if it is of interest.

The battery was 100% full and 81% full the next morning using the humidifier function.
This means that there is capacity for many nights of CPAP use.

The battery was 98 % full and 91% full the next morning without using the humidifier function.
This means that there is capacity for many nights of CPAP use.
What conclusion can we draw from this?
With Makspower lithium batteries with Bluetooth and app, you get a great overview of battery status and how many nights you can use your CPAP machine.

What does this cost?
It is possible to buy an original battery for CPAP. The disadvantage is that the battery has low capacity and is relatively expensive. With a Makspower lithium battery, you get significantly more capacity and much longer usage time. The Makspower app gives you full control, predictability and a good quality of life.
