Description
Smart BatteryProtect disconnects batteries from unnecessary loads before it is fully discharged (which could damage the battery) or before it has too little power to start the engine.
When Bluetooth is used to program Smart BatteryProtect, any required connection/disconnection level can be set. Alternatively, one of nine predefined connection/disconnection levels can be set using the programming tool (see user manual).

Smart BatteryProtect is a unidirectional device. It can only handle the current in one direction, so either the current to a load or the current from a charger, but not both currents at the same time. In addition, current can only flow from the IN terminal to the OUT terminal. If used with a load, the battery will be connected to the IN terminal, and if used with a charger, the charger will be connected to the IN terminal.
